Jesus would ask a blind man what did he want/ desire of Him. All indicators would say Jesus knew immediately what his needs were. He does because he’s all knowing. Instead he ask him to search his heart to know with certainty his heart’s desire. We are called upon to seek God with openness of heart to be honest and clear about what we most desire of Him.
And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
