All of us want to have a life of contentment. The Psalmist offers to us in this chapter how he reached the idea of contentment. He first and foremost put his trust solely in God. He was will to trust his and all of its highs and lows into the care of God. Secondly, he found comfort in his relations with others. We are must remember that Adam was not complete without the comfort of another human being. No one is an island. We need community. Finally, the Psalmist said that he would depend on the guidance of God.
We can find contentment in life.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
